modular construction

For many years, modular buildings have been thought of as trailers on wheels used in rural locations where no one would or could build. For many years, that perception has been fair-but not any longer. Today, modular buildings are used for hotels, schools, apartments, office buildings, and even laboratories. In fact, today's modular buildings are either the more typical combustible wood construction, or can be non combustible steel construction.

Colarelli Construction has developed a division dedicated to the use of modular construction on projects where this approach offers cost, schedule or quality advantages to the Owner. We are currently working on the following projects using modular construction techniques:

  • 117 Room Resort Hotel
  • 18,000sf Medical Office Building
  • 240,000sf Elder Care Facility
  • 48 Bed Juvenile Detention Facility
